Wrapping up the week at Metaversum, August 24, 2007
Summary of some updates from the past week at Metaversum.
- The biggest news to report this week for Metaversum has been, of course, the State of Play in Singapore.
- You can find some brief notes one day 1, day 2, day 3, day 4, and the session I moderated.
So those are the big notes from this past week! I hope you all had a great weekend.

Sounds like quite the interesting week!
I can share the concerns of many of the attendees about transfer of assets. The obvious goal from a wealth protection standpoint is that if one virtual world goes belly up, you can transfer your wealth to another.
One real-world example of this is the Anshe Chung “Dreamland Exchange” which allows you to transfer Lindens (Second Life) to PEDs (Entropia Universe).
Future projects might add other real-cash economies to their transfer system, allowing a multifaceted movement of funds. These types of “meta” economies are exciting and will allow for more freedom going forward.
