Print your Avatar
Just for fun, we tested out printing avatars in 3d. Send in your VRML-model and you get a full-color high precision model. The technology behind it is quite similar to an inkjet, with pretty impressive results. Would you be willing to pay for your own little persona? And what would you do with it? Maybe a present to your loved ones, in case they can’t find you online or offline? Here’s a sample:

If I had my avatar totally tricked out, I’d probably do it. Anyway, my avatar may be more attractive than I am in real life. I’d probably keep it on my desk.

The 3D print reminds me of the art of Stephan Balkenhol. This could be a great gift.
