Some highlights of the past week:

• I wrote a piece trying to explain the difference between the 3 blogs that we publish: the Metaversum blog, the Yumondo blog and the Twinity blog
• We removed a couple of job postings, as we’ve filled a few positions, including the IT Director
• The kickoff of Project Metaversed was announced.
• There’s a new contest over at Yumondo. It’s kind of an insider thing, so you have to go get in there to check it out yourself.

As you may have seen at the Metaversed.com announcement, Metaversum is sponsoring Project Metaversed. This is a project envisionsed and coordinated by the Metaversed team, with goals of comparing a number of open source virtual worlds platforms. We have 3 blogs, and we’ve had some feedback from people that it’s not really clear to them which blog is which. We do a few different things as a company, and not all things interest everyone, so I hope that this blog posting will help clear up which blog will give what information. Last week, we had 2-3 new jobs posted, and we still have about 10 open positions here in total. So I wanted to do a quick poll to see if there is overlap between our blog readers and people interested in working at Metaversum. Please vote!

Also, two small notes:

• I fixed a small problem in the voting that multiple people on shared networks couldn’t vote on the polls.
• I’m probably going to change polls less frequently for the next couple of months because things are getting extremely busy here.

Our Force Sunrise subsidiary is growing with some exciting projects going on. Consequently, they are looking for an assistant to help manage their office, etc. The job is available on our jobs list.
